Our customer is a leading engineering company that manufactures and exports high-quality precision parts. They have a strong presence worldwide.

The customer faced challenges in managing the change requests as it comprised of several stages passing through various teams including approvals of HoDs at several stages. They needed an app which can:

  • 1. Effectively and efficiently track all the change requests.
  • 2. Provide notifications to stakeholders according to the current state of the change request.
  • 3. Provide functionalities such as generate reports, history tracking and analytics.

Adit Microsys developed an application based on Microsoft PowerApps, Power Automate and SharePoint.

This app helps the company to keep a record of all the Engineering Change Notes (ECN). The records progress stagewise and the responsible teams and team members have access to the stages according to their pre-defined access rules. Appropriate conditions and warning/validation messages keep the users informed about next steps. This app ensures that the teams can focus on their tasks, and they are up to date with notifications on actions to be performed.
